My Land
The soil
We are in Trentino, on the east hills surrounding Trento where my family roots from my mother side are from.
Calcareous soil with clay texture, ideal for growing vines as a panoramic look at the area testifies.
The biological method
Natural grass cover of the vineyard, no use of chemicals, neither for taking away the weeds nor for fertilizers or pesticides.
Copper and sulfur based pesticides are the only ones used.
Use of green manure mainly with legumes to fix nitrogen in the soil and increase its organic components and fertility.
The winery
Modern oenological technique to allow the wine to best express the territory from which it comes, the vintage and the varietal characteristics.
Between viticulture and oenology the important part is played by viticulture and the creation of wine in the vineyard with natural techniques in balance with the environment.
